Medea Bookmark

A bookmark that I designed and illustrated of the sorceress Medea, a figure from Greek Mythology, after she killed her children to enact revenge on her husband Jason. Here I focused on creating an almost numb/tired facial expression in an attempt to capture a broken look of a woman that was repeatedly manipulated (when considering modern retellings). Made with watercolours and added to digitally.
